The cure for staying young and healthy forever? I have it!

“Did you know that drinking matcha can prolong your life and rejuvenate you?”
It may sound like a magical promise, but science confirms that matcha is full of antioxidants that promote health, improve the immune system and help prevent certain diseases. So let’s take a look at all that this green powder can do. Below is a video of my matcha ritual.
Facts about matcha
Matcha, a powdered green tea, originates from Japan and is known for its high concentration of antioxidants, especially catechins, which protect the body from free radicals. Studies suggest that regular consumption of matcha can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, improve mental performance and boost metabolism. With its ability to improve concentration and maintain energy for a long time, matcha is also becoming a popular drink for those who want to stay fresh and productive all day long.
History of Matcha Tea
Matcha has a long and fascinating history, dating back to the 9th century, when Buddhist monks in Japan began using the green powder made from tea leaves to sustain energy during long hours of meditation. In the 12th century, matcha became part of the Japanese tea ceremony, which became known around the world for its philosophy and aesthetics. Today, matcha is not only a beverage but also a symbol of Japanese culture, and its popularity is growing worldwide, where it is valued for its health benefits as well as its unique taste.

My Experience with a Real Japanese Matcha Ritual (video below)
I recently had the opportunity to experience a real Japanese matcha ritual in Japan. It was a fascinating experience. My guide, Shizuku, told me that all her friends drink matcha every day and never have any health problems. Matcha is more than just a drink in Japan – it is part of everyday life and culture. Shizuku showed me how matcha is prepared traditionally – slowly, with care and respect, which makes it even more magical.
Making matcha at home – easier than you think
Instead of paying high prices for overpriced matcha drinks in cafes, why not make it at home? It’s easy, cheap and the results are great. Let’s show you how! All you need is good quality matcha powder, a measuring spoon, hot water (but not boiling!), a matcha whisk, ice cubes and milk of your choice.
Mini matcha recipe
1.Grind the matcha powder onto a spoon.

2. Add some hot water (but not boiling!) – ideally around 70°C.

3.Slowly stir with a whisk until the powder is completely dissolved and a smooth, fine foam is formed. Stir back and forth, not in a circular motion to create foam.

4.Put a few ice cubes in the glass.

5.Add milk (it can be any, from almond to cow's milk). I prefer plant-based.

6.Finally, add the prepared matcha and mix gently.

7.Enjoy your homemade matcha!

Now you know how easy it is to make matcha at home and why it is better than drinking overpriced drinks from cafes. At the same time, you learned about the history of matcha, how it was created and where it comes from. Matcha is an ancient Japanese drink that first appeared in the 9th century, when Buddhist monks began using green powder from tea leaves to maintain energy during long meditations. Today, matcha is not only a symbol of Japanese culture, but also a trend that has become popular with people all over the world. So why not use its magical effects in your everyday life?
